AMERICA IS FACING a critical shortage of skilled trades professionals across industries essential to our economy, infrastructure, and national defense. Welders, pipefitters, electricians, additive manufacturing technicians, and other skilled artisans are in unprecedented demand— creating an urgent need for scalable, modern training solutions. To address this challenge, I/ITSEC 2026 is launching a new Traditional Trades Pavilion focused on workforce development, simulation-based training, and immersive learning technologies. This initiative will bring together leaders from industry, government, education, workforce development, and training innovation in one dedicated space on the exhibit floor.
